Default BMR Trac Pack and PS LTs?

Guys,

I have an old style BMR trac pack bolted upto my BMR sfc's (as you can see in the pics below). Honestly, I've had this setup on the car so long I can't find much information about it as BMR has changed their design. My question is? I am looking to go to some PS LT's and from the setup I have I don't think the PS ORY will fit as the TQ arm mount may interfere with the trac pac. I am thinking of having a Y custom fabbed up, what do you guys think and does it look like this will be necessary? Also, what Cat do you guys recc and where abouts should I have it mounted on the Y?

It should be fine as long as you dont try to run true duals, LTs and a ory will have the pipe running in the same place as you currently have it

LOL - Thanks guys, I had just pressurewashed the underside before these pics as they were sent to High Performance Pontiac Mag for my spred a few years back.

I agree I'm not so sure the Y pipe will fit, but do any of you have Trac Packs (new or old) with a LT setup and Y pipe? If so could you post up some similar pics so I can judge what I'm looking at. Also, any suggestions for a custom Y pipe and fitment?

What type of cat do you guys recc as the guys at Random Tech want me to go with a mild CAT or their 100 series as with this cam I will just burn up a typical cat over time due to the large duration.

I think the y-pipe might be close to touching the trac pack near the end of the trans there. Hard to say really.

Yeah, I am pretty sure it will interfere as it's hard to tell in the pics but a DS safety loop sticks off the end of the cross bar and loops up over the DS near the tail shaft. I have a friend that does custom exhausts and he is willing to build a custom Y out of stainless and I'm gonna show him the car to get his input.

I was considering the oval option as well, but I'm gonna just talk to the exhaust guy and see what he reccs. I think it will be fine, just gonna have to have the custom y made.

What high flow cat would you guys recc for the PS setup?

Guys, I thought you'd find this funny/pretty cool. I heard back from BMR today and Lee Spicher (thier team lead/developer) was shocked at the photos I sent them of my suspension. He said it was like a trip down memory lane as he hasn't seen this setup in a very long time. Turns out the reason I can't find much on my setup is BMR only sold 10 total (YES that's 10) of these before they redsigned it to the current design. He was very supprised/pleased to see one installed. He said that noone at BMR would have ever even heard of this setup as he and the old owner of BMR (Brett Rockey) were the only ones there at BMR at the time. I guess I caught BMR when they first started back in the day and look at the size of them now.
