PT 86

I have to make a run towards Midland this coming fall for work, and was wondering if you guys had some opinions on the best scenic way to get there. I will likely be traveling from Ft. Worth, down I-20 to midland. From Midland to San Antonio, then back to Houston. I am looking for a nice Hill country drive, maybe some smooth dirt roads to explore here and there.

From Midland to San Antonio there are some nice Hill country views on I-10. You can cut over from Kerrville to Bandera and take Hwy 16 down to San Antonio.
