Default Wiring Help Needed Installing F Body Cluster with 03 Truck Computer

Ok I have a 91 Mustang I'm using an F body cluster in. I got most the wiring hooked up but I'm not understanding how the gauge is going to see oil pressure.

The Truck Harness Says it is
.5 Referance
Low Referance

This is the Truck Sender

So The Way I have it hooked up is Pin 63 BLK Circuit 2755 Here

Then Pin 7 Circuit 2705 .5 Referance as the PCM Pinout says.

I ran oil Pressure output to the gauge , and to the PCM Pin.

This is the F Body Cluster Side

The F body Sender Uses 1 Wire or so it looks.

Am I Missing something here or what. BC the gauges stays at 80 it never seems to move therfore making me think it isn't right.

Also F body uses Serial Data , so I hooked the second Serial Data Pin to it. The First serial Data pin is used for the OBD Port... Please somebody Help...

Pin B14 on the cluster is the oil pressure signal, you need to hook the wire from the sender to it, not the PCM
You also need to use the F-body sender

Question then is will the pcm see oil pressure? I'd like it to.

No and why? Depending on the PCM, most of them don't doing anything with it, except send it up the class 2 date buss to operate the gauge. your cluster doesn't get it from the class 2 date buss, most likely the truck did

Well when using hptuners I'd like to see oil pressure. I guess if I gotta deal with it I can. I'd just like to have it work. Also what will I need to do to turn off the security light and abs light and airbag light?

You can put a second sender in and hook it up to the PCM.
As far as the lights, if you don't hook them up they shouldn't light.
IIRC the security light has wire going to it to activate it and the other get their signal from the class 2 data buss, so if you have no ABS or Airbag modules they shouldn't come on

Yeah I see your point. Where you recommend the second sender ? Also all those wires wernt hooked up and the lights came on. Also what thread size is that ls1 sensor?

Did you start the motor, with the cluster hooked up? The bulbs all light up during the bulb test and should go out. If you're not using those lights, just take them out of the cluster
The sensor is metric, I'm not sure of the size, you could either put a T and mount 2 sensors of put a fitting in the plate on the oil pan above the filter, where some guys tap their oil feed for their turbos

I reconfigured the 99 F body gauges in my conversion using the same 99 for all wiring (PCM, relays, etc). The voltmeter and oil pressure work but I don't appear to have the data signal for the other gauges. I have continuity between the pcm conn and the cluster plug. What is the purpose of cluster term # A-13? My dash lights work through #B-9. Do I need both? I also did not use #B-5 (starter relay voltage). What is the purpose of that term. Any input appreciated.

Use the factory drivers side temp sender for the PCM (that is where the harness is wired to) Put another temp sender in the back of the passenger head for your guage.

Or you can run a 3 wire temp sendor and make the pcm and your gauge happy using the stock hole in the drivers head.
