Default My Impressions on Magnaflow Muffler Installed Today.

After 4 years of the SLP LM exhaust with cats on a H/C car, I went with the muffler and had it put on today. I could not believe how quiet it is compared to my cats with LM exhaust. My car is quieter now without cats with the magnaflow. Its awsome. I live in an apartment and sometimes I leave at 6am, now the neighbors won't be so upset with me.

My set up is Pacesetters into catless y pipe into 3in flowmaster merge then the muffler. Also I would like to add that I looked inside the muffler and it is straight thru pipe no restrictions at all.

To anyone thinking about this set up I would recomend it. Just buy the muffler and have a muffler shop fabricate some pipe to fit.

I just had the Magnaflow 14" bullet welded in where my LM1 resonator was on Saturday. It sounds amazing and would also highly recomend it.

My borla is too quiet, I was thinking that magnaflow would be louder. Do you have a P/N for the muffler you ordered? I'm looking for something more aggressive and will avoid this muffler. thanks.

PN is 12267 for the muffler cost me about $102.00 shipped. I have H/C/I. It is tame now. I still cant believe the diffrence from LM to this amazing and very quiet.

I used the existing stanless steel LM piping and fit the muffler on it. Had to do some custom fabrication for it to work. I was also goin to take a photo of the muffler to show everyone that it is a straight thru muffler with no restrictions. But did not have time. Now I am catless with a quiet exhaust. Best free flowing muffler your goin to get IMO.

I was looking to do the same thing. I have a Borlamouth setup and I was looking to upgrade. I just ordered the Magnaflow 12267 muffler from Amazon for $74.07 or something like that.

I went through Google shopping and when I added it to the cart in Amazon, it came up at the lower price.

How does the muffler flow? I wonder if it will open up my exhaust compared to the Dual/Dual?
