I dont think you can hardly find just those pieces new. Gotta get lucky and score it on the used market. However, you can look for an entire torsen posi and use the block and bolt and keep the posi as a spare.

i appreciate the offer but i think it might be cheaper for a brand new one (if i can find it).

plus now that i think about it i have one, sort of. i just have to see if it fits. i bought one of these in 8.5 (the whole unit) and its in a box somewhere. if its the same for 8.5 and 7.5 then i have one and will just have to still get one when i eventually use the other unit.

No its not since 1.they cannot be bought alone new 2. SLP used to sell them for $180 but no longer make them or sell them
I know this because I went through this not long ago when I sold mine for 50 shipped, so I would snatch up that $40 offer. Thats probably your only hope. And they are hard to find. As 01redSSA4 said its easiest to find them in blown up zexel's.
Good luck in your search, and FWIW its generally referred to as a paddle or sometimes a thrust block/plate

I had to buy a used one from a LS1Tech member, as I could not find anyone selling these new. Good luck
