Black TA with Pewter accents...
I have a black Trans Am that I want to do some subtle accents to. I have been thinking of getting the PONTIAC sticker for the rear bumper, the screaming chicken sticker for the front plate cover, and the Trans Am logos on the doors, all in Pewter. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this, and do you have any pictures?
Also, I was thinking of replacing the panel between the tailights with a blank one, and getting a pewter sticker to make it look like the original. Does anybody know the part number for the panel, and the emblems for the doors? Prices would be good too.
I know black usually looks pretty good on Pewter color cars, and was thinking it would look good the other way around. I would do red, but wanted to try something different. Currently my car has tinted windows, and the polished 16 inch firehawk rims with red decals in the center (would change them to pewter also).
Let me know what you think!!

I've got all those decals in silver, also I have the 30th anniversary kit. The rear "Pontiac" decals look amazing when you compare it to stock. I think pewter will go along well with black. For the black out panel you need to get some fine sandpaper and wetsand the trans am and firebird ensignia off. There are a few guys on here that have done it. I haven't done the mod yet so I don't know exactly how it's done. Using some rubbing compoun d will help though. Good luck

Thanks guys. Hey Bad *** TA WS6, do you have any pictures of your car?
For the blank panel, didn't one of the LT1 firebirds come with a blank one?

Well, I got a potential part number from somebody on another forum, it is 5977294. Just need to go see if it is the right one, and how much. If too much, then I might used Bad ***' idea and do the finger nail polish remover.

Jim,
I think it would look good with that color combination.
My wife and I recently purchased a New pewter T/A convertible. It looks so much better with the top up,the pewter and black look good together.
Send a pic when you get it done.
