Default Which Slick?

Need some help. I have a set of the stock 16" wheels that came off my 1994 trans am and can't decide which tire to get. The tire will be used for drag racing only and I need ones that don't rub and hook up good. BTW I have 4.10 gears and 400rwhp. Thanks for the help.

We're in the same boat man...for now I'm sticking with drag radials, at least there's a few in the right size. It's pretty tough to find slicks in the right size for the stock 16 X 8 wheel.

A full slick probably isn't necessary; I would get a Hoosier drag radial. The Mickey Thompson radials hook like a **** as well but they're heavy.

I didn't know Hoosier made a drag radial for the 16's. I heard the M/T radials don't stick worth crap in the rain. I've got my eyes on Nitto NT555R drags in 255/50/16. They supposedly perform the best in the rain over M/T and BFG.
