Default Why no new cars on the SI list?

Didn't check the other lists.

Anyone really running these cars?

Even though they're not LS1 powered, it would be interesting to see how far up the list they would get..

I don't think we will see anyone on that list with these new Camaros for a few years to come. One reason is that most of the guys that have those 2010's are older guys. They will baseline the car ,but you best believe they will do a H/C or a power adder quick on those 2010's .

Things just aren't the way they were in the past. Though the new camaro's are selling well enough, I don't think they have the same "gear head" following they did back in the day.

I hope that with the new mustang coming out with the performance edge, maybe that will be enough to light a fire under some of the new camaro owners.

I think the problem will be (like mine) is u just spent over $30,000 on a car and really dont want to beat the living **** out of it yet.I took mine to the track once and smell clutch and that was it i went home.I have my 02 SS a4 to beat the crap out of for now until the new wears out of the 10.

..but if you modify it enough to be out of warranty, what does it matter. Put a better clutch in it and drive it.

I think my warranty is still good on mine.I only did bolt-on's but these cars are not like the 4th gens they are more diffucult to launch.I am looking to buy a set of M/T ET Streets for it.But a new clutch for the 5th gens are $1200 for a good one.

Everything will come down in price, and people will start wringing them out. Just gotta give it a couple years. Not everyone wants to carve up a $35k car for internet glory, but a few would do it to a $15k car

The f-body was a lot easier to get down to a decent RW, and easier to launch. But like these guys said, the 5th gens will move up the list once they can be had for a reasonable price.

All the above comments are valid, plus summertime isn't when people get new PB times. Wait about 3-6 months!
