Default Anyone gained anything from 3.23 to 3.73 with a stall

Ok guys im grasping at strings to get into the 11's SI. car run a 12.04 last night with a 1.62 60' with a 1800 DA. Got a cam im going to install, but wanting a 11 second pass first. But i know with better weather it should run a 11.80. Just wondering if any has gained any going from 3.23 to a 3.73 witha SS4000? Or just use the $$ for a oil pump and chain and be done with it!

ANY cam install benefits with a rear gear change. Especially since you have a good converter in the car. Either way 3.73's are universeally accepted A4 gear ratio. SOME go as high as 4.10's but they also generally run around with a 28" tall tire on the street.

i vote 410s with a big tire

sounds like youll have the power to turn the big tire, why not use the extra sidewall and really let it grab

but im running 430s and a 28" tire on the street also, but in an M6
