VFN 4" WS6 hood is now installed!!! PICS->
I managed to get my car over to VFN last night and the VFN guys, Armando and Lane installed the hood.

The hood looks fantastic on the car, the lines of the hood really work with the fender lines and bumper. Lane raked the nostrils back and now the nostrils appear taller and wider but still use OEM grills.
I think the final weight of the hood was 27 lbs, and that was before any mods. I plan to cut out part of the back (VFN offers this an option) and install some of their rear grills... And I plan to make a custom airbox too.
I went to 7-11 last nite on my way home (11pm). When I came out there were 3-4 guys checking out the car because of the hood.

Yeah, did you read how many people have posted on this topic? There are no pics though.
Why start ****.
People were saying that the top looks a little flat. With paint and all I was wondering if this aspect looks better.

The hood looked okay on the bench.
It looks completely badass on the car... The hood really goes with the car... I'm sure some of the pics we took will come out okay.

Hi all, I'm Layne from VFN. I'm kinda responsible for "the hood" as you now see it. Sorry this has taken so long to finally see the light of day- lots of work goes into these custom pieces, as you'd imagine. It was very important to create something that appeals to as many people as possible. After all, what's the point in producing a hood that we 'think' might be okay. There was plenty of discussion between PSJ, Armando and then myself before any work began. John was the key person with this project- the liason who I should point out deserves most of the credit. We're just glad to be part of the project and are now piecing together the 'SS' components. The exciting thing about jobs like this (WS6 mod or 'Alien' IMO- LMAO)is that it has great 'ripple effect' addapting to many applications,ie. race cars and earlier models, etc. Oh, BTW, I also have some of the pics from last night....can't get my stupid camera to download/upload/whatever!! I'm working on it.
One more thing.....when I can,I'd be more than happy to answer here(try to!) any Q's you may have regarding 'glass stuff. (Tech only tho, please- can't help you with $$$ info, unless very general)
Hope you guys like what you see and give us all the feedback you can!
Layne

Will the pin-on hood come with everything I need to install it. I think for the money its the best hood out and I am definatly getting one for my car. I think i read it only weighs 13lbs
