help wiring 2 step on msd 6010
Hi I need some info on how to wire my 2 step on the msd 6010. I'm trying to wire it off my transbrake. It says in the manual that you hook it to a 12v source. My transbrake is working fine but when I try to hook the 2 step up to the transbrake button it will engage the transbrake even without me hitting the button. If I just run the 2 step wire to a 12v source, when I go to do a burn out it just stays on the 2 step and won't let it rev. Im not that good at wiring so please bare with me.
thanks

I have my line lock and two step on the same push button on the shift ****. I put a switch inline to the two step so I can hold the line lock button and still do a burnout. Before staging, just flip the switch and then the line lock and two step both activate with the button.

NO you need a momentary switch. wire it so that while the switch is depressed 12v flows through it to the msd to activate the 2-step, when you let off the momentary switch it opens the circuit and allows rpm limit to return to your set high limit. Most guys use the same switch as the one for their line lock - thats why the last poster used a toggle - so he could use the line lock for his burnout without engaging the 2-step - he uses the toggle to isolate it.

Issues with 6010 Transbrake and two step activation.
We have an LS swap Mustang in which we have the Transbrake and the Two step activated by the same 12v signal. The Transbrake engages correctly but when we go foot to the floor on the throttle the engine will bogg and try and shut off. If we apply the Tbrake. and go half throttle it will operate properly and the two step seems ok. Issue only shows when foot to floor.
