help! 98 t/a wont shift into park I have a '98 trans am w/ about 112k miles on it. Recently whenever i put the shifter into park, the car shifts into reverse. Reverse shifts it into neutral, neutral shifts it into drive, and so on.
From what I've been reading, it sounds like my shift linkage may be screwed up. How do I check this, and if it is the problem, is it a relatively simple fix or something I have to take to a trans. shop?
