You plan on doing the headgaskets yourself?

you can get head gaskets for around $100, youll also need exhaust gaskets, intake gaskets (theres a felpro kit that also includes injector o-rings, tb gasket and egr gaskets) Head bolts, new spark plugs... Thats just quickly off the top of my head.

Love to find a project like this. $1500.00 is as much as I'd like to pay but I wouldn't feel too bad about $1800.00. I'd pull it and take the necessary time rebuild it completely. Rims are hideous though... trade them for a pair of salad shooters!

Electrical drain is probably a botched fan relay mod or EWP install. See the wire splice in pic 10?

think i would do it.. you could get it running and sell it if nothing else, easily get your money back out of it, and probably make a decent profit on it.

LOL - those rims are the same old centerline sabres I used to have minus the rivets as mine were the 3 piece design. The first thing I'd do after you get her running is ditch those rims. That being said - go for it as these motors are not hard to work on and should be a good project car. When you have the heads off, it might be a good time to send em' in and have some port work done and maybe swap that cam out .
