They're reground, which if done right is ok. However, way back when I was semi interested in a 218/228 on a 110lsa he was going to grind for me, everything was going great till I asked him what valve springs he recommended and he told me stock or the "Z28" springs which he carried for $80 ($20 flat tappet spring btw) in which I never returned his email. That alone scared me away, but I have heard of some people having good luck with them.
You can snag lightly used cams on here for that cheap, I'd go that route instead.

I have the .510/.520 230/236 @50 cam...sounds awesome and pulls like you would not believe in my 94 LT1 camaro...I inspected all the lobes and the entire camshaft...found no defects...will buy my next one from them

the only reason I bought this cam is because I HAVE tried everything else....I have been drag racing since the late 70's, built many, many small block, big block, and even some ford engines... My 94 camaro is my first computer controlled application, so give me a break... I am happy with my decision, the cam sounds great, and runs good for a street car. I have since got another one from them, to my own lift and duration specs, for 165.00. try to find a better deal. I am completely happy with this company, and will buy more.
