correct. code 14 happens when the sensor voltage reads as greater than 140 deg C. If you can tell that the engine is not actually burning up, then the sensor is faulty.

well that one is for the gauge sensor. Since he's getting the dtc, the pcm sensor (near the water pump) would be the one. Of course both might need replacing.
