Default T56 hard shifting

Hi

My project is almost done. Just few things here and there. I been able to do some test driving for a week now. What a thrill to have LS1 + T56 after tired 327 and PG. I will try to find some time to write close up story about the swap. I hope to do that very soon.

The problem I am having is quite hard shifting with the 3rd gear. Most of time you really need to "throw" it in and still it pops out sometimes. Sometimes it goes in smoothly. No logic found on symtoms yet. I have TechRods harness on engine and no wires going to the tranny. I have not yet changed the fluids on tranny, so that is what I will do soon.

Any ideas?

I would suggest changing the Fluid and also check to make sure your Clutch Master/slave is functioning correctly. That the Master travel is just about 1".

Could be a weak master/slave.. maybe look into the Master Drill Mod...

Try changing the trans fluid and bleeding the clutch hydraulics first, but it's been my experience that popping out of gear indicates damaged synchronizers.
