Aeroforce LT1 new scangauge, PT401, V2.7, install, pics
I decided to sell of my original Aeroforce scan gauge and replace it with the current updated version, PT401, V2.7, most of the gauge components are identical. You do get the option of changing faces from black to white, black aluminum bezel, and a brushed aluminum bezel. You can actually change out the bezels on the new gauges, mine has been changed to a separate polished unit, and it looks great I'm going to post a couple pics of the new unit and later I will post a pic of it re-installed in the car.

The gauge is worth its weight in gold just for the OBD codes and clearing DTC's, but all the other items are extremely helpful. One of favorite items, shift light using the dual led's, mines set for 6100 and it works beautifully! My vote is a positive for sure, get one

Having a handheld gauge, and one that is on the fly all the time is not really a comparison. Once again, in my opinion the gauge is worth every penny, don't forget you have access to a pair of analog inputs and a host of other items I suspect are not available on your scan tool? It also acts as a horsepower calculator, and a data tool by allowing you to view a recorded slice of information from the many numerous sensors. I feel like I should get a commission check from Aeroforce
Hope that helps you.................
PS: Let's not forget the most important feature, it looks pimp
Draggin97S10,

Yes yes the pimp factor. It does seem quite useful, maybe I'll pick one up after the T/A is road worthy again. My ho has been sitting for too long, she needs some exhaust and TLC.
