Wheel/ Suspension Question

Wheel/ Suspension Question I am looking into getting some ZR-1 wheels for my car. Now this is all theoretical at the moment, but I have a few questions.
I want some 17's, and with the 11" wide ZR-1's, I can run the 315/35/17 Nitto NT555R perfect on that rim. Now my car is stock suspension at the moment, but I want to lower it, not much, probably only about an inch. Would that fit, and if not, what has to be modified?
Where do they sell those ZR-1 wheels, that I could get them at a good price as well?
Also, I am a noob when it comes to suspension, so what are some good lowering springs/shocks to run? My buddy has some eibachs that lowered his camaro about an inch, and it looks amazing. Are those good lowering springs or are there better springs out there for price?
Shocks I have no idea what to look for, so school me on those.
