Default Help diag. transmission slip or is it the converter?

I originally had a Yank PT4400 and it was acting really funky during tuning, so we switched it out for a modded ss3600 with a different stator.

Turns out that after the swap, the isue is still there.

The trans will not shift properly at part throttle and will complete the 1->2 shift at 5000rpm. I can barely feel the other gear changes, but I can see with HPTuners that the trans is supposively in the correct gear. In 2nd and 3rd I have to rev to like 6k rpm to get the car to even move forward (and it barely does)

Under WOT in first, it will smoke the tires, but it will not shift to 2nd and just bang the rev limiter. In 2nd and 3rd it IMMEDIATELY hits the rev limiter when I go WOT.

Was this trans built wrong? How can I diagnose that it is the trans for sure? SHould I test line pressure at the port on the side of the trans?
