Looking for the best location to connnect the pink to the ecm on a 69 camaro.

Use the wire that originally powered up the ignition/coil.

...but make sure it doesn't have the ballast resistor in line. The VCM needs a solid 12 volts.

Oh crap! Good call, I forgot about that. It probably won't have a ballast resistor, but will most likley have a "resistor wire" that would need to be changed. I changed that wire out when I first put my HEI distributer in back in the mid 90's!
