Default Normal for rear quarter panel to have slight creases ?

My right rear quarter panel has a few slightly visible vertical creases. some 1-2 inches one is 3 inches or so. I mean very very slightly noticeable just by certain angles in the reflection. By hand its not noticeable. The sheetmetal above the tire all line up as it would untouched. Inside looks smooth as well I removed some liner spray and the metal and spot welds look untouched too. My previous Z had a slight ding-like crease in the fender but I have seen it in many F bodies that have never seen an accident.

I work for a manufacturer and it's not uncommon that some sheetmetal gets dinged up before the paint shoppe. Perhaps I'm just refusing to believe it hasn't been hit.

Doesn't bother me if I had been lied to the previous owner can easily say it could have been the original owner. For the price I paid I'm not going to complain at all. Car still looks sexy as hell and I'm going to bring it to life soon enough with the mods !!

Bingo. Mine has them, but they're hardly noticeable.

I had a shop PDR all the "waves" out of the quarter panels for $75! They did an awesome job.

I do, UMI weld ins. I installed them when the car had no more than 30k on it, and only a lid and exhaust for mods. Thinking back, I don't remember if they were already there before I installed the SFCs or not. It's been a looong time ago.
