what's a used 6.0L motor worth?

what's a used 6.0L motor worth? I was wondering what everyone paid for their used LQ4's? I'm mainly interested in the short block but if I could find a whole motor for a reasonable price, I'd buy the whole thing. I mainly just want to know what a "good deal" is if I run across one in a local salvage yard or something.
I'm kicking around the idea freshening up a short block to use for my turbo build instead of hoping my stock LS1 short block will hold up and build it up prior to the turbo install. I figured if I could do a 6.0L and pick of a few cubes, it might be something to consider.
