Need Opinions Before I Spend Some Serious Cash
I own a 2000 C5, A4.
My goal is to build the car to have good driveability / reliability with H.P. and torque #'s in the mid to low 400's.
Heres what I am considering:
PCM Custom Tuning
3:42 Transaxle W/Super Duty Shaft, ( I considered the 3:73 but figure this would not be the best choice for the highway commutes )
Yank Converter
Shift Kit
Trans Cooler
GM SCCA Stage 1 Heads, ( It has been recommended I go to stage LS6 Stage 2, any additional advice would be appreciated )
GM Hot Cam ( It has been recommended I go to a different Cam, any additional advice would be appreciated )
SLP LS6 Intake
TPSI Headers
Random Tech 3" X-Pipe with Cats
Volant Intake
Performance MAF
What do you guys think? Am I headed in the right direction or is some of this redundant and overkill. My goal is to keep the cost of the mods under 8K.
