Default Will these really help?

I just put the 315s on my car not long ago and I've never had it at the track or anything nor have I driven my car more than twice since i put those on. (Having the cam installed)But will these really help my traction much ? I only got them for looks but I do plan to take my car to the track and was just wondering if the wider tire really helped any. Their Sumitomo HTRZs.
Thanks

Since you got those tires no. You will still spin especially with the 4.10s and cam. If you want a little more grip go with a 555R, GS D3 or a KDW.

Yup the word is that sumitomo tires suck as far as traction goes. You need a DR for decent or superb grip buddy

Sumitomos have really poor traction. I can blow away my 275 sumitomos with my basically stock Formula. I'll be swapping to 295 BFG KDWs when I get new wheels on.

i agreed with your statement until I saw your tire choice.. they are good tires for the price to do normal driving on..

once you get aggressive..you roast them.. i had a nearly stock set up at first spinning those 285 like the road was wet..
