I'm not new to modding cars, nor fabrication, but engines and transmissions were always kind of vodoo to me. I've always been a little timid because it seems a little overwhelming with parts working together, parts cost, and generally not knowing what works with what. But now I've got my LS2 for my Chevelle, and I like to do all of my own work, I guess there's no time like the present to dive in... I'd just rather not blow a lot of money, and spin my wheels. So is there a good book, or website(s), or link here that can give me a beginners idea of what I'm doing or supposed to do? Also I'd love to be around other people that know what they are doing, so if you live in the Phoenix metro area (West side is better for me) and you don't mind answering a bunch of questions and someone looking over your shoulder.
