Default Leak/small hole in newish hoosier QTP`s

Hey all, ran the car this weekend at Ultimate shootout at our local track and must have picked something up in the tire. I go in garage after work the next day and driver rear is flat, DOH!!!!! I found the leak close to the center of tire.

Whats the recommended fix? My cousin works at a local tire shop, should I have him patch it? or??

Just have your cousin put a plug in it. I had a plug in my BFG drag radials and it held all the way down to the cords with out a problem, and i used just a punch and pull plug.. Your cousin will probably have a plug that goes on the inside of the tire and pulls out and is held with rubber cement on the inside. Those are alot better and will almost always last the life of the tire.
