Ditch the N2O, Bigger Cam. Ideas
Well, I have a great, extremely complete, single nozzle system that I am going to get rid of. Can't see spending almost $8/lb on nitrous anymore. I live at ~ 5200' of elevation and FI is not an option ($$$).
I really like my TR224-112 but I would really like to see if I could make more power with a larger, better spec'd cam for my situation.
Currently running:
Patriot LS6 CNC 243s
~TR224 112
~LS6 intake
~SLP lid
~FTRA CAI
~BBK 80MM TB
~SLP U/D
~38lb LS1 FIC's
~EFI Live
~150HP Wet Shot
~Mac mids
~ORY
~Gibson Cat-Back
~Fuddle 3400 2.1
Ideas for custom cam would be great.
Thanks

I am really tempted to slide in a TR230. Any real gains to be made there? At 5000', I can't help but think a rev. split would help out....no??
Thanks all!

simply swapping cams won't get you anywhere near the performance of juice. either use your nitrous more sparingly or get master bottle with a pump system and sell it on the side to make some of that money back

I love my el toro. 230/230 .612/.592. Its a pretty nice reverse split. I'm very happy with my numbers. I'm on stock heads so maybe you want something a little bigger. Just a suggestion.
