Sup guys.

I am getting slight hesitation and flashing SES light when I drive above 2k rpm. I took it in to a shop, and they checked with a code reader, but its not storing any codes.

One guy recommended using a laptop and scanner to check to see whats happening real time.

Does anyone around the North County area of San Diego have a something like that?

i used to have an obd2 cable and you could use that with the laptop and one of the free programs, I have been trying to find my cable for months but without any luck.

sorry man.

I have one in south SD, but I can tell you already that you're having misfire. It could be logged to determine what cylinders and under what circumstances though.

I live on Camp Pendleton and have a scanner. Almost 100% positive it will scan while driving.

Are you guys talking about a simple code reader, or like a scanner which reads fuel maps and cylinder info?

That what the guy at the shop recommended.

I asked him, couldnt we hook up the code reader, then drive over 2k RPM so the light flashes, and we get that code. He told me the code reader doesnt read in real time....

Where do you live? I have HPtuners and VCM scanner on my laptop. I can scan/log everything in realtime.
