Default 408-D1SC, tuning questions

this may be a broad question but im about to shove my supercharged lq4 in my 2000 camaro, and i dont know what to do about computer/tuning. do i just put the motor in and haul it to a tuning shop or do i need to send my computer off somewhere?

Is it a new engine? If so, you need to break it in before tuning it under full boost... to do that, you need a base tune. Is the tuning shop nearby? The best way to do it is to get them to do a base tune on it, then you can make sure everything is working properly and broken in before you go for the full deal. Whatever you do, if you have new injectors that the PCM hasn't been tuned for, don't start the car! Big injectors on a small injector tune will wash rings out very quickly!!

yes it is a brand new engine, and they are brand new injectors too...

I see you live in Oklahoma, you have Ed Wright at FAST Chips in your state.
