New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - was my car that good of a deal?

i have been hearing how much peoples t/as were and it seems like way to much i got my 98 with a 104k miles for 4700 and the body is in pretty good shape and the interior is tore up but the car was from texas no rust and a 100% stock is this that good of a deal?

Doesn't sound like that great of a deal IMO. A tore up interior kills the value to me. Your car probably would have sold for $7k with a mint interior.

How bad is the interior? If its just seats its a fairly good deal

If you had lived here over time I could have got you a full nice set of black ta seats for $450 and new floor carpet for $100 so yeah id say it was a fair price.
Pics would have been helpful though

well its mostly the seats but i will get some pics today so you guys can see it and the wheel was bad too but i got a wheel skin that looks good enough and the dash has a couple cracks i dont know what i can do about them and if some one has seats and carpet for sale or anything for the interior i would be very interested

Honestly not that great a deal, not terrible, but not great either.
It seems like it's just impossible to find an F-body in good shape these days without paying a ridiculously high price.
Congrats on the purchase though, still a nice car, and the interior is a relatively easy fix.
