Slow 6.0 Ta
Im pretty new to the LS world and would like some ideas ? I recently traded for a 02 TA .... Here are the mods that i know of . 6.0 .030 ( iron 370" ) eagle rods , diamond 9-1 turbo pistons, stock 243 heads and valve springs , manley pushrods , LS6 intake ,42lb inj , custom comp cam 232/238 @.050 5.95/.605 lift 114 lsa .... walbro 255 (only 48-50 psi ? ) th400 3200 converter 4.10 gear Strange 12 bolt . First the fuel pressure seems low ? i was told 58-63 is what it should have . the second thing is the car seems slow to me , the best i have got out of it at the 1/8 mile local track is 7.75@88 mph with 1.70...60ft ! i had another LS car for a short tim that i bought from NXZ28 on here and it was full weight 2000 FireHawk LS1 cam only MS3 And a M6 car , it ran 7.50's @95 mph ..... with the same 60ft ! I could never get the hang of leaving the line and still trying to stay consistant thats why i traded for the TA with the auto.... for some reason the 6.0 pulls good to about 53-5500 then it flattens out ! i tried shifting at 6000 and lost 1.5 tenths . I shifted the Hawk at 66-6800 with no problems , it didnt stop pulling till about 7000 , i feel like the TA with the 370 should at least match the 346 Hawk ? any ideas

It has 1 3/4 long tubes with 3" off road y pipe with magana flow 3" cat back , yeah the compression is a little low because the guy i got it from intended to put a turbo on it and never did , however i think the lact of RPM ability is my biggest draw back ? some people tell me the stock yellow valve springs cant handle the cam ?

yeah i think the max lift for those ls6 springs is like .550 someone correct me if im wrong. I have never owned a car with that pump but i would think that pressure is low. atleast 58 is whats needed for these engines. sounds like you may be having a lean problem at the higher RPM. I would get that checked before you go flogging on it anymore.
