BRP Hot Rods NEW Fox Body Mustang LSx Swap Kit
We just got the first run of the 1982-1993 Fox Body Mustang kit (it also fits the 1979-1981 if you modify the transmission crossmember mounts) back from the powder coaters. This kit can be used with the stock K-Member and most aftermarket 5.0L K-Members. The headers are built and being coated right now. We offer 1 3/4" mid-length headers and long tubes from 1 3/4" all the way to 2". It was designed around the early CTS-V, which we have plenty of them in-stock at all times. This is the pan without the oil cooler mounting bosses cast in the side of the oil pan, and we are dropping the price on them starting this month at $329.00 with the pickup tube, windage tray and hardware. These are NEW old stock that we have used our resources to find. The kit is $499 and the headers start at $499 with ceramic coating.

Thanks, yes that's the kits and the mid-length headers. Yes, they are in-stock ready to ship. The storms late last week knocked out our phone service until yesterday,so I appologise for any missed calls the past few days. If you call in your order before the end of July we are offering a 5% discount.

Our kit includes the engine mounts, frame brackets, tranmission mount, tranmission crossmember and complete hardware kit. We are working on getting this application added to our website as soon as possible. The kit price is $499.00, the headers start at $499.00 (mid-length 1 3/4") and go upto $829 (stepped long tube 1 7/8" to 2"). Our kit can used with most aftermarket 5.0L K-Members, but we haven't tried it with most of them yet. Since most of the aftermarket k-members give more clearance then the stock k-member we built the kit around the factory one, we've only kit the kit with a tried couple aftermarket k-members and you might be able to use other pans with those k-members. but if you are using the stock k-member with our kit you will need to use the early Cadillac CTS-V oil pan, if you use the newer superceded part number you will need to remove the oil cooler bosses that are cast into side of the pan. We have the Cadillac CTS-V (early style) at a new lower price for $329, it includes the pan, gasket, pickup tube, and hardware. As always if you have an F-Body pan we'll take it in on trade and give you a credit towards the CTS-V or LH8 oil pan.

I don't understand what you guys are offering.
From what I see, you are selling everything it takes to bolt the motor and tranny in for $499. This uses the stock bulky K-Member (or after market if you already have one or plan to buy one extra $$$). You also might have to use another oil pan.
I'm not sure how this compares to AJE which gives you a Tubular K-Member and everything needed to bolt in the motor and tranny for $509. Any oil pan works. The K-Member also accommodates other swaps with a simple mount change.
The reason to build another k-member is simple, weight savings and there is more room.
So what you guys are offering costs the same but offers less? I must be confused somewhere.

Why would we want to offer the same thing as other companies? When we started the this build it was because a few guys that already had aftermarket k-members wanted a kit that wouldn't require them to replace an item they already purchased. So we built a kit for that purpose, since we were building one to utilize the factory 5.0L mounts we built it around the factory k-member since it was more bulky and would cause the most interference issues. I'm not trying to say that our kit is better than anyone else's kit, but it different and offers different fitment. if it's not for you, it's not for you.
