Default vette vs camaro exhaust

how come you cant get a ls1 camaro to sound like a ls1 vette..

difference in pipes, lengths, bends, cats, dual vs Y, muffler, tips, manifolds, etc etc.

even if you have the same stuff{headers,xpipe,hpipe,mufflers etc etc)it still sounds different..

a vette exhaust probably wont fit under an fbody so getting a similar sound might be difficult.


but you reminded me of a badass sounding c5 i saw today. they do sound better.

If you drive a Camaro, then embrace the fact that it's a Camaro and make it the best Camaro it can be. Don't try to be a Corvette, that's just time, money, and effort wasted.

i think mine sounds better than a vette. personally i think vettes all sound high strung and....less ballsy. however i do hear a lot of ls1's that sound like hammered dog ****.

this is because c5's have true duals ANDD the mufflers are at the end of the exhaust, our's are further up and make it more deeper
