Default Compression ratios

Now I know it will most like depend on my power and drivability goals but I was wondering something about compression. I am using a stock 346/347 inch short block (forged H beams, stock crank and forged Mahle pistons that are rated 10.3:1 with 66cc heads). I am getting ready to chose the valvetrain and heads. I have a 2002 T/A, M6, 3.90 gears and would like a mid 11 second street strip car with decent drivabilty. A little more than a Saturday night special but not exactly a daily driver. My cam duration will most likey be in the 231-237 ranges with mid 580s/low 600s lift. Is compression going to be a factor? Should I even worry about raising it up from a more stock ratio? I was looking at Patriot head in both stock CC and 59CC versions. Is the higher compression version worth it? More low end torque? A few more upper RPM ponies? I believe my goals can be met with stock compression but I wanted to hear your thoughts, advantages and disadvantages of both setups? Thanks!

More compression is great for a H/C Car. That 10.3:1 setup you have will be fine!
