New Shift **** ... Gauging interest
Any interest from the road race crowd for a **** similar to the bellow to fit a T56 shifter? It was developed for one of our local customer's time attack race car. The concept is to get the shifter much closer to the wheel and reduce the time your hands are off the steering wheel. The **** is 6" long and weighs nearly 1 pound.

I'm not part of the road race crowd so maybe you weren't asking for random throw outs but....
Wiffle Ball shifter
I want one of these that is a direct fit, it's totally catchin on in f-bodies
(pictures/logos/design are copyright of any represented companies etc.)

I was going to shorten it up some and try it on a car before making them.

I just had one made because I could NOT find a manufacturer that made one that I liked. All I wanted was a Simple weighted ball (polished aluminum) that had the correct thread size to match my B&M shifter (16mm X 1.5). So, I know a machinist that has access to a lathe at night and he started carving me one. He didn't make the Sphere unfortunatly he didn't have access to that machine, so he made me a piston. Looks like something you would have in an old muscle car.. But the point of me saying this is, I had break down and have a **** made because I couldn't find a nice shift **** that had the threads for the B&M shift ****... A simple line of cheaper ***** for that shifter would probably work well

i am part of the road race crowd. i was thinking about a shifter like this.....but i think having such a long stick will increase the distance needed to actually make the shifts, thereby negating the purpose of having a 'short throw shifter/stick' in the first place. also, having such a long shifter will give you unneeded extra leverage, possibly doing damage to your trans -at least im guessing-.
although if its cheap enough, i might just try it for the hell of it. need a prototype tester??
