LS1 on LT1

LS1 on LT1
I am fairly new to the LT1 and LS1s im currently building a LT1 and have a few questions. From what I have been told you can put LS1 heads and intake on a LT1.
Main reason I ask is because i would like to know if it would be smarter using LS style on an LT. I plan on doing a 383 stroker turbo'd on ethanol pump gas, and would like to see horsepower in the 500 to 600 range at around 6000 rpms. This will be my first Horsepower engine build so as much information as I can get will help me reach my goal.
I also have 4 years of Auto tech training just nothing on the performance side of things, and currently a Tech as well.

500-600 flywheel or crank HP? Big difference there. If you want 500-600whp, what transmission are you planning on using? What's your budget? Lots of questions to be answered AND asked. Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

Have the basic 2 year tech plus another in special training.
anyways i heard from a couple people in town here saying that it was compatible not to look like a dipshit but rather ask someone that might know a little more about than a couple guys off the street...
i want 500-600rwhp, dont really have a budget i got nothing but time and money to be made during that time. its going into an 87 t type buick regal. going to use the 4l60e trans if it will stand up to the challenge if not i got some thm350s laying around

Dont need anymore training at rebuilding engines. As a tech you dont get to many people coming in asking for this kind of things its usually throw a cam in it or just rebuild it. I know my fair share on engine rebuilds just want to do this high hp build for myself and since its my first lt1 im building I dont know an aweful lot about the design
