a few things about the valves:

1. how much amperage/voltage do they need to operate properly?
2. I need one that opens FAST and is reliable, what would be the best brands?
3. where would i go about finding them?

im building a nitrogen powered spud gun, i want the valve to be the "firing mechanism" so im thinking enough D-cell batteries in series to get 12 or 13 volts but is that enough juice? could also use the big 6 volt ones too

i know the truck drops fast when you purge the bags but its got weight on it, i need the gas to blow into the gun instantly so im thinking a very large size, like a -10AN or bigger. How would it perform?

Call Ekstensive Metal Works on sunny drive in aldine north Houston. I got a few parts from those guys. Bill owns the place and is nationally known for his work and experience.
I have built a few bagged trucks and they got the good stuff
