Clattering noise at acceleration?

Clattering noise at acceleration? I have an 02 Z28 M6 that has almost 90k on it and mostly stock aside from a blackwing lid and K&N filter. I have had it for almost a year now and notice a clattering sound coming from behind the center console AC louvres when I am under moderate acceleration. I am not sure it is something to worry about or not, I am not hard on the car but like to open it up from time to time getting on the highway and would like to know if I am about to run into some costly repairs.
If anyone has any thoughts on the subject, please let me know.

I will take a look at the driveshaft and see how it looks. It sounds like it is coming from the back of the motor though. Right behind the radio and ac louvres.
