Default Question on stock '98-99 Camaro wheels

What's the offset on the SS (ZR1 style) wheels? What's the offset on the Z28 (5 star) wheels? Would the SS wheels sit closer to the fender than the Z28 wheels.

Thanks.

I think I found the answer to my question above, but someone please check my math.

Z28 wheel specs: 8" wide, 55mm offset (2.165")
SS wheel specs: 9" wide, 50mm offset (1.968")

What I'm trying to determine is the distance from the hub that each sits so I can gage whether or not the SS wheel sits closer to the fender.

Calculation:
Distance from Hub = (Wheel Width)/2-Offset

Z28 Distance from Hub = (8)/2-2.165 = 1.834"
SS Distance from Hub = (9)/2-1.968 = 2.531"

So to answer my question.... the stock SS wheels sit approximately 0.7" closer to the fender than the stock z28 wheels.

Let me know if any of this is incorrect.

Thanks!

Can someone verify my #s are correct in post 2? Want to make sure I'm right before buying.

Thanks.
