Default ASR off all of the time, not the switch

What could be wrong with the car other than the switch? The car starts the switch works put it in reverse and it turns off and stays off.

I know its not a big deal but if I get a 3,600 stall and mod it more id like to keep the traction control for daily driving.

thanks

Its likely a wheel speed sensor. However, when those aren't working, like say on a dyno where 2 wheels are turning and 2 are stationary, it throws ABS codes/dash lights as well. Worth a shot to try to replace them.

ok

When I start the car the lights are off then the only one that comes on is the asr

Ill try to see if theres a code today, if it costs too much I can live without it. A good amount of early ls1 cars didnt even get the traction control im sure I can live without just the light will get annoying over time.

Thanks

I'd rather have the car spin than have that weak excuse for a traction control bump your foot off of the throttle.

Yeah I understand

I think more than anything the little light is annoying, with the power it makes now, with the 275 tires it wont spin so its not like it matters much really. Its just nice to have in the rain only really.

Its another ghost problem with my car, seems to like doing weird things. It started working today I dont know why.

The car sometimes wont start with a security light on, then it goes off 2-3 mins later, think that's moisture related and one time it ate the key and released it the night before I was going to go get it fixed at the dealer. I don't know maybe the car just hates me at times lol
