I have this system on my TA sounds great but hits bottom of car rubs on body right above the rear axle area. What's a better set up to run with out problems? I have hooker long tubes with high flow cats don't know what brand y pipe.

Your problem is with your installation, not with the stystem.

I've had it on two fbodies and never had a single problem.

No probs with mine either. The only time it hit anything was when my hanger broke.

Hrmph. I don't know what to tell you. I've had that system for years without any problems. Just keep moving it around till you get it right.

get a bullet muffler installed on the i-pipe, it makes all drone go away. I rode in a friends car and I was about to ask him wtf was wrong with his exhaust.... until I remembered thats what mine did b4 i had the bullet put on. Trust me, it's worth it.

which is exactly why i went to a FM merge and a 4" cat back.

btw a bullet is just a band aid, it doesn't FIX the problem, only makes the problem less noticeable.

You must not have headers and an ORYP!

I've contemplated an XR1 in the I-Pipe but I just love the way it sounds at idle!

I had Pacesetter lt's, ORY, borla w/open rear "y" in my last 30th and I loved that sounds. WROARPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRWROAR! Its the signature LS1 sound. I think someone said it had to do with the "vortec/vortex" thats created in the heads/chamber, i cant remember.

its like mustangs and their signature "bubble bubble bubble bubble" exhaust sound at idle.
