That's a growing trend to the C5 crowd. They take and paint or vinyl wrap the halo(bar over the roof) black and then tint the windows and get a see thru top or black targa. Search corvetteforum.com and there should be a few threads on it I love the look and if i didn't have a black car i would do it in a heartbeat. It looks badass if done right.
