I def agree with Greekey! I had never done any polishing until last year. Long story short I got a class on how to do it.. And I polished my frame, parts of my exhaust, and my kick start on my dirt bike.. I don't see how a belt tensioner could be any worse..

I would get another on polish it and swap them out when your ready..

I've never really tried polishing anything. You could actually make a stock tensioner look like a mirror?

Agreed, polish that thing yourself and then search this forum for the tensioner pulley mod where you buy a pulley with higher ridges on it....it'll keep your belt from walking or throwing much better than the stock setup and only costs you a few bucks and an hour of your time!
