Default Anyone run Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport?

I'm looking at new tires, and came across these. Anyone ever run these? How are they compared to BFG KDW II's? Do they look relatively wide?

I have 275/40/17's and they measure about 11.5" wide at the tread. I love them though, just bought them about 650 miles ago. Good price and very grippy. They handle well and are very quiet on the road.

They do, I'm not sure how long mine will last because I still have only put around 650 miles on them but my friend has about 4k miles on his set (255/35/18) and his rear tires are almost at the 2/32nds marking, probably 3/32nds left. But that is only in the rears and he drives the car hard. I drive mine like a Grandma and rotate often when I need to. (Haven't had to yet). My friend though, hasn't rotated them at all so that might be adding to the wear.

I just got the RE760's for my fronts (275/40/17) and I love them so far. The ride is extremely comfortable compared to my old Kumho's, they look good, grip well in the corners, and are pretty good in the rain so far. Wouldn't be able to comment on traction since they are not on the rears, I have some Eagle F1's for that job...

Well It's between these and the KDW 2's. These seem to have slightly better ratings, so I'm sort of leaning towards these.

I can help ya on this one. I just put potenza re760's on a few days ago. Check the OE Wheels pic thread (page 56 I think) and you can see mine. I did a lot of research and the potenza's do run a hair wider than the bfg kdw II's. On my 10.5's, the kdw II's bow in a little and the potenza's are pretty well a square up and down sidewall. I had the kdw II's last in the same size (295/35r18). The potenza are actually a harder tire than the kdw II's which have a tread rating of 300 as compared to the potenza's 340, so the potenza's should not wear quicker than the bfg's. Ratings go out the window if you blow the tires off it every time you take off, but in a regular driving scenario the potenza's will last longer. So far I love mine. If you want any close up sidewall pics let me know and I'll post some up for ya. I guess it really depends on the size of rim you are putting it on as to how they will look, but both are wide tires.

Can you post up pics of the side wall please. Im interested in purchasing these as well.

thanks,

Absolutely Great tire. Quiet even when pushed to the limites or doing burnouts. Grip WIcked when fully warmed up.
