Its over 20% total loss I would say.....

With MTI stage 2 heads and a 230/227 .591/.571 112lsa cam, all my other bolt ons, etc.......heads/cam setup.....

I dynoed 367rwhp and 4xxrwtq

With the 6-speed I would of been well over 400rwhp and 400rwtq

Car went the time in the sig with that raceweight

No Brian, you're GUESSING what it would be with H/C on an M6.

He's looking for a before and after dyno with just installing a TH400.

Is the loss in HP between the 4L60E and the TH400 due to the 400 not being a lock up convertor trans?

My locked and unlocked A4 numbers usually differed by 25-30rwhp.

My old H/C setup got 388rwhp. When I had just a cam and a M6 I had 403.5rwhp.

I plan on doing the swap to a t-400 myself. Would a carbon fiber driveshaft, and changing the 12 bolt posi to a spool with gun drilled axles offset the loss some ?

Without a doubt. Rotating weight is (literally) 10x more critical than static weight. Shaving 10lbs from the drivetrain would free up a bunch of power. Of course, the cost of a custom CF driveshaft, drilled axles, and the lack of drivability with a spool is something you have to consider for yourself. For that price you may want to consider a 200-4R first. Sure, it will cost more up front but they are way more efficient, and still have OD.

About 30RWHP compared to the 4L60 and close to 50RWHP with an M6

My last setup was ARE Stage II H/C with a TH400 and 9-inch. My car made 365 RWHP with the TH400 (no lockup). I sold my H/C to a guy with a 6-speed/10-bolt. His car with the same tuning pulled 410 RWHP. I had a 4500 Yank TC btw.
