Canadian Members - Toronto West / Etob Machine Shops?

looking for a machine shop in in my area (The Queensway/ Kipling area in Etobicoke) where I have leave my new LS6 block to have it slightly honed to fit my 3.903 pistons and have the rings fitted as well.

also wondering what this may cost to do?

Drive over to NY to get it done. Don't waste your time with local shoppes and their poor equipment and experience.

Active Engines they are around Winston Churchill and the QEW. I have never had work done there, Legendary gets alot of their builds done there.

Personally I would avoid them like the plague. I went there once because they said they had a LTX block I needed. I went there and they tried to hide the bottom side of the block. Turned it over and it had a rod that smashed through the webbing of the main caps. He said it could be machined out and wouldn't lose any strength :huh: I walked right out of there and all I heard as the door close was 'we can knock off $50'... right.....

Eagle engines in Concord is a decent shop. Astro automotive and Machine is good on Q/C too but you better be prepared to wait five years to get your stuff done

I've had good experiences with Garry at G&R automotive...but they are in North York...Im around the Queensway/Islington area and its about a 30 minute drive or so from my house...
