Talking New Gen III Mcleod Master Cylinder

So after months of waiting with my car being down for this new part to come through and be developed it arrived this morning, and I have to say on appearance alone this MC looks awesome. I unfortunately will not be able to put it in as I have to go to work and all. I just took a pic with my phone so I will put pics up soon. But I will let you all know how this new unit does. Cool to be one of the first if not the 1st kid on the block with a new toy no one else has. Mine came as follows, a new slave hydraulic line, 90 deg elbow, quick disconnect and the MC with adjustable rod. It is all Black with a machined lip.

Because the Tick has proven itself time and time again. Plus there customer service is awesome and they are a sponser.

Just relized that Mcleod is a sponser too. Looks like they use a Wilwood slave where I believe Tick uses a Tilton.

They aren't the only ones that know their stuff. A quick search of our name on this forum will uncover hundreds (and hundreds, and hundreds) of positive reviews and feedback for our product.

We will have new products release on the unit sometime next week, just as soon as I can get pictures of the C5 corvette unit. The mounting flanges are at the anodizer due back on Monday. Here are the pictures for the 1998-02 LS-1 Masters and the 1986-1997 TPI/LT-1 Masters.

Yes the actual body is a casted piece. The mounting bracket is billet aluminum.

The unit retails for $407.50 which is actually $3.00 less than it's predecessors. It's at the discretion of the individual retailer to decide where they want to sell the unit to be competitive in the market place. You'll be hard pressed to find a volume minded retailer selling at full retail.

I hope you're right, I just got a little nervous with the 407.50 price tag. How soon will they come to the market and any word from retailers on a GP to get this started?

Well since there are 25 in the field already I would say they have come to market. GP? What is that?

There isn't much difference mine is 13/16 bore, Ticks is 7/8 Bore from that standpoint mine will be a touch softer in the pedal feel. Aesthetically we feel ours is better looking and is a representative of what a master cylinder should look like from a manufacture. But the bottom line is a master cylinder is a master cylinder and you'll get quality product from either unit. I guess it comes down to personal preference or brand loyalty.

Yeah I feel that one hand washes the other and we support our dealers regardless if they compete directly with us. Competition is a good thing, it brings out the best in your company which the consumer benefits from.
