They are the same as LPPs. Stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8".

Email the seller and see what they say. Fact is SSAutochrome was the one who made the headers for LPP, and (from what it looks like) a bunch of other eBay vendors too.

The set I installed a few weeks ago certainly felt like 1 7/8". I didn't mic them though.

Out of curiosity, where did you read that at?

they are 1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4..

a friend just put a set on he bought from speed daddy i believe, well, i know he got them off ebay, and they were like $312 or $320 delivered.. i stopped by his house today and we were looking at them..

i talked to him today about them, he said they went on pretty easy, think he said he had to loosen up his steering column and slide it over as far as he could and had plenty of clearance for the steering shaft.. he also said he had to do some adjusting on the y-pipe, and trimmed a little off the weld seam on the k-member on the passenger side.. think that was more from him having old stock engine mounts more than anything..

he said he would definetly buy another set for what they cost..

Default Speed daddy ls1 headers

I currently have installed these headers on my 98 a4 convertible and have had no problems they are 1 3/4 and 3 in out. So far no exhaust leak, only problem i came across with them are i had to remove the steering column to fit them. for the price i would def buy another pair.

Guys there's a huge thread on here about this. ..Assumptions like the post from brucer are what causes the confusion.

Speed Daddy's are 1 7/8

There were / are some other sellers on eBay selling a set with 1 5/8 primaries. All the info is in the thread. Look up Colin91Zs posts

There good headers got them on my 01z28 but look at pictures before buying them and you will see the air ports on the headers are not facing the correct direction had to do a lil southern fabrication to make them work and the steering knuckle rubs a lil. Taking it to gm here in my lil country town I know the shop foreman grew up with him. Im gunna see if he can turn that egr off. For a lil extra money get u some kooks or even pacesetters they bolt right up with no problem. Still cant beat the price on speed daddy.
