Default Best appreance mod for the $?

I am redoing my firebirds exterior and entire look. Tinting windows/tail lights black, painting wheels black, new hood, high rise spoiler, lowering, etcetc. I ask for opinions and advice, no hating on my poor old V6 please. My parents don't pay for anything, but they agreed if I drove the V6 until it dies completely then they will help with getting a new trans am. Yeah I'm gonna have fun with this while I can. I ust want to know what exactly you did to your car to make it look the best in your eyes. I know just putting the chrome TA wheels on mine from those HIDEOUS v6 firebird wheels made it look 100X better. I want the WS6 imitation hood, there is a local guy selling one. I can probably talk him down seeing as I can get a brand new one with shipping for this.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thumbs up

Ha LS1 front clip would be sweet. but just get a 98+ when your V6 goes... in the mean time it sounds like you are on the right track. that hood will give you a face lift for sure! new paint and tint and you're pretty much there. maybe a drop kit, but save the money for go fast mods on an LS1.

Good luck! and what ever you do to you car make sure you like it!

Save all your money, drain the oil out of the car, and blow the motor. Walk inside and say look mom, it's dead...

Stepdad builds NASCAR cars, he will know exactly what happened haha. If I abuse it I pay to fix it, then I'm stuck in the V6 for even longer.

Damn, well I guess you will have to make due! Hahaha. The LS1 front clip is a good idea. But I'm just gonna say a nice hood, drop it, good lookin wheels, paint and roll out!

I would make it to where the timing chain breaks and ******* the engine or something lol

Would a trans quailify as death? Thats an easy option lol

Honestly save the money, if I had a v6 car thats what I would do. Save it for when you get the v8 so you can do some nice stuff with it. I have a hard time justifing buying parts for my z when I want a m6 ta really.

Tint and wheels would be about all I would do. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on the V6 car, and save it for when you get a V8 car.

If you start modifying a V6, you will catch crap for it from a lot of people, FYI

all I would do is the wheels and lowering springs as they can be removed and installed on the new car.

put it this way, buy all the parts you want hood, springs, tint, clip, etc. once the V6 dies part out the car you'll get money back & than use that for your next whip. thats basically what i did with my V6 maxima lol it was fun too

Nothing wrong with building a V6 car up to look nice. I have a 91 V6 Camaro that Im in the process of repainting Hugger Orange. I want something nice to daily drive and not worry about touching the engine. I have my V8 if I need something fast, but a nice looking V6 would be cool for a daily driver. My vote would be LS1 front end with the ws6 hood and some nice wheels and call it a day.

or you could look at it this way..... A guy here in town has a 98+ V6 camaro. Red, SS hood, SS spoiler......EVERYTHING. It is immaculate and has nice wheels ect ect. It took everyone a few minutes to catch on that it was a V6 car. Now all he has to do is swap in a new drivetrain.
