I have read several things on here about tuning nitrous and am so confused by all the argueing. I'm trying to remember everything I have read.

If I read correctly I heard that pulling timing isn't going to cause you to lose a noticable amount of horsepower. What is more important to do is get cold enough spark plugs that way you can lean out the mixture a bit and that is where you will benefit in more horsepower compared to putting timing back in. Is this true?

If so when I had a 6 speed I was making 403rwhp. I plan on putting a 250-275 shot on top of that. Which colder plugs do you recommend? Should I stick with the 2* pulled/50 shot? I will be using C16 in a standalone with 93 octane in the fuel tank?

I have also heard of people putting in new spark plugs everytime they go to the track. Should I do this in my setup?

There was other things I read and can't remember now. Any tuning help is much appreciated. Thanks for all of your help.

Ok, The best way to help you is lets just talk about what you need to do.

Looking at your sig this is a 96 z28. Is the mod list accurate?

What do you have fuel system wise?

What system are you using?

Yes I need to correct that. Here are the changes.
1. Th350 with a 3600 or 3800 stall(can't remember)
2. Brand X Single Nozzle Kit.
3. Also just bought your Nitous Outlet Single Stage Direct Port Plumbing Kit. I went through Thunderracing that way I didn't have to pay tax ;) He said it would come straight from ya'll.

I will be getting a standalone kit from you guys. Probably through Thunderracing again. I believe the low pressure standalone is better for tuning. Correct? It will have c16 and my stock fuel tank will have 93. How fast you think my o2 sensors will last? Just wondering.

Anyhow this is what I was thinking of doing since I already have a single nozzle kit from you(which I never used) and now I have a direct port kit on its way from you. I could do a dual stage kit.

The single nozzle kit I would spray 100 shot at 3500rpms to get me going off the line. Then at 5000rpms my single nozzle would shut off but the direct port kit would turn on at this point and I would use a progressive controller to bring it up to 250 or 275 shot at 6500rpms.

If i started the progressive controller at 78% at 5000rpms. I would be starting at about a 215 shot. If you need to know that.

Anyhow thanks for any help.
